Bizman loses ₹22.5L in used car racket – Times of India

Bengaluru: A 34-year-old transport businessman filed a police complaint accusing two men of cheating him on the pretext of selling used cars.
Bhagavan Rao M Potdar, a resident of Govindarajanagar in west Bengaluru, runs a transport business in Kalaburagi. He first met accused Keshavamurthy and Shashidhar DC, in 2019 when he was looking for a used car. The duo convinced Potdar to purchase such cars in Bengaluru and sell them in Kalaburagi to make huge profits.
Keshavamurthy assured Potdar that he would get an Innova Crysta for Rs 12.5 lakh and Shashidhar promised another one for Rs 10 lakh. He gave them the money, but the duo neither brought him the vehicles nor returned the amount. Potdar waited for over a year before approaching police last Saturday.
CK Achukattu police have taken up a case of cheating and investigation is under way.
